15 years' experience in the rail industry in track engineering from An installer of Switch and Crossing to a National role of Principal Engineer. For the last 5 years active as the specialist for Network Rail's Professional Head of Track, leading a team that covers issues concerning Standards and Controls, Compliance and Assurance, National Performance and trend analysis for Track Geometry. The team are subject matter experts for Innovation schemes e.g. SHIFT2RAIL, Intelligent Infrastructure and Ellipse Exploitation where Data Analysis & modelling is at the forefront for effective targeting and risk management of track infrastructure for whole asset life cycle.
